We have taken Troy to the Boise Zoo twice now. Once this summer, and once a couple weeks ago. He's loved it both times. He loves to look at all the animals, pointing and making animal noises. He's also had so much fun climbing on the animal statues and going down the slides they have. Now that he is very steady on his feet, (and almost even running!) he can have that much more fun tromping around the zoo grounds. Boise's zoo has a fairly new exhibit: Africa. They have two giraffes, zebras, lions and some other smaller animals from Africa. They have a nice set-up that helps the visitors learn more about Africa and its people. WE got some great pictures. In addition, we saw a bear, some leapards, a huge huge tiger, monkeys, and lots of other animals.
