After much thought about when, we finally had Troy dedicated. No dates for church dedications worked for us in the next few months, so my Uncle Tim (who happens to be our pastor) let us do our own private dedication. It was nice having it be intimate and personal with just family. We had lots of family join us which was so nice, having everyone witness this and agree to help us in raising Troy to know and love the Lord. We know that Troy was never "ours" but always God's, on loan to us. I pray all the time that God helps me to be the kind of mother to him that He would have me be, and pray that Troy will grow up learning about God and wanting to know Him more and more each day. That's all what this day was about. Thank you Jesus for giving me such a wonderful blessing in my son! :-)
